Grace Ingram

Grace G. Ingram, age 90, of Troy, owner of Ingram’s Curb Market, died Friday, February 24, 2012.  Funeral services were held Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.  Interment followed in Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.  Visitation was held Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mrs. Ingram loved Alabama sports and especially loved fishing.  She was also a founding member of Pilot Club of Troy.

She is survived by her children, John E. Ingram (Carol) of Tuscaloosa, Charlene Jordan (Conley) of Troy, Patrice Jones (Thomas) of Jacksonville, FL and Terry Ryks of Troy; eight grandchildren, John Neal Ingram, James E. Ingram, Scott Jordan, Michael Jordan, Jack Jones, Emily Jones, Mary Ryks and Todd Ryks; eleven great-grandchildren; her sister, Mary Lecy Hutto of Banks; brothers, Stanley Golden (Genell) of Columbus, GA and Harold E. Golden (Webbie) of Tallassee and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ingram was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ingram, and two brothers, Murray Golden and Vester Golden.

Pallbearers will be John Neal Ingram, James E. Ingram, Scott Jordan, Michael Jordan, Jack Jones, Todd Ryks, Preston Ingram, and Andrew Ingram.  Honorary pallbearers will be all present and former employees of Ingram’s Curb Market.
