An older troupe preformed most recently at the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.

“This is a great opportunity for this group of girls,” Ratcliffe said. “This is their first big travel performance event and everyone is very excited. Not only is it an opportunity to perform at Disney, it is also an opportunity for them to represent their community. There will be big banner that says ‘Little Full Force from Troy, Alabama.

Little Full Force will perform nine dances On Stage. Joining them will be the sisters of two members of the “Force.”

“Both of the sisters are cloggers so we invited them to be a part of the performance,” Ratcliffe said.

The opportunity to perform at Downtown Disney began in the fall with the completion of an application packet that included a video of Little Full Force.

“Our application was accepted and we began raising money for the trip,” Ratcliffe said.

“We sold Boston butts, candles – just all kinds of things. And we also have sponsors and the names of all our sponsors are on a T-shirt that we’ll wear while we are there.”

Ratcliffe said the young cloggers will be in the Disney parks and will go to Hollywood Studio for a professional Disney picture.

Little Full Force will also attend a dance workshop at Epcot Disney where they also learn about opportunities at Disney for dancers and others interested in the performing arts.

Little Full Force and their chaperones will also have free time to enjoy the fun of the attractions surrounding Disney World. They will return to Troy on Monday.
