Lucy Folmar Sanders

Lucy Folmar Sanders, age 99, of Goshen, died Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 30, 2012 at 1 p.m. from the Goshen Methodist Church with Rev. Andy Blackmon and Rev. Jimmy Eddins officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Al and Joyce Sanders of Goshen; her grandchildren, Steve R. Sanders and Vicki Sanders (George) Browder; her great-grandchildren, Jason Browder, Tori Browder (Mike) Peacock, and Madison L. Sanders, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Law Sanders; her parents, Jessie Tom and Evie Lee Folmar; and her sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillian and Cecil Johnson and Carolyn and Glen Johnson.

The men of the Goshen Methodist Church will serve as pallbearers.
