Troy Police had at least two people in custody Friday night in connection with an armed robbery that happened on Christmas Eve.

At about 3 a.m. on Dec. 24, a black male suspect entered the Z-Tech convenience store on Sanders Road. He demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint.

Police have not released how much money was taken, but said no one was injured in the robbery. Chief Jimmy Ennis said this case was solved as the result of “excellent police work by the TPD detectives and officers.”
