ENTERPRISE – Pike County fell to 0-5 with a 67-31 loss to Red Level Monday in the Enterprise Thanksgiving Tournament.

The Tigers controlled the game from the tip jumping out to an 11-5 lead.

Ryshan Hall hit a three pointer before Marlon Meadows picked up a lay-in to bring the Bulldogs to within one, 11-10. That would be as close as Pike County would get, however, as Red Level went on a 36-4 run.

The Bulldogs, playing in their fifth game in six days, are still in the learning phases of a new system under head coach Doug Branson.

“There is a learning curve,” Branson said. “We are playing these games and learning for area play.”

Hall would finish with seven points for Pike County while Quadry Gresham added six.

“These guys are still adjusting,” Branson said. “They are working really hard and I’m encouraged at the progress they’re making.”

Pike County lost to host Enterprise in the opening round. The Bulldogs will face Tallassee in the seventh place game today. Tip is set for 10:30 p.m.
