Being thankful and mindful of blessings will be the focus of this month’s Female Factor luncheon.

The Rev. Den Irwin, pastor of St. Martin Catholic Church in Troy, will be the featured speaker. The program will begin at noon Wednesday at the Studio in Downtown Troy.

The Female Factor is a program of Troy Regional Medical Center and is designed to provide life-enriching opportunities for women was they celebrate all the aspects of their lives that make them uniquely female.

The program is offered free of charge and includes a monthly gathering and lunch, provided by the hospital and sponsoring partners. Topics so far have included communication skills and styles; organizational tips and advice; and women’s health concerns.

In addition to the main program, the TRMC Physical Therapy Group ENCORE will be present to give tips and demonstrations on how to prevent “Shopping Shoulder” during the holidays.
