Helen J. Williams

Helen J. Williams, age 73, of 114 Martin Luther King Drive in Troy passed away October 26, 2011 at her home. Services will be held November 1, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Edward J. Knight officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel A.M.E. Cemetery in Orion with Harrison Funeral Home officiating.

Helen J. Williams was born March 5, 1938 in Pike County to Nathan McCloud and Magdalena Lewis. She attended Academy Street School and was employed by Alabama Textile/Troy University. Helen was a faithful member of Bethlehem Missionary and was the youth choir director at First Baptist. Her hobbies included spending time at the Senior Citizens Center in Troy, ceramics and travel

Family members will serve as pallbearers and floral bearers.
