Is VA making the most of its congressional funding?

The purpose of this letter is to bring to the attention the ongoing problem Veterans are having getting medical treatment at the VA Hospital in Montgomery.

The VA has just spent a large sum of money creating MYHEALTH>VA which includes a secure messaging system which is suppose to allow the patient to e-mail his primary care team about his medical problems,

I have personnally been e-mailing my doctor, the Patient Advocate and th Customer Service office for two weeks now in reference to try to get an appointment. I have written my congressman (Sen. Sessions) and others and have yet to get an appointment. This is after the satement on MYHEALTHVA says that you will hear from your doctor within two days.

Now my question to the Montgomery VA, Sen. Sessions and the other members of Congress is, “WHY KEEP SPENDING MONEY ON PROGRAMS THAT THE STAFF AT THE VA DOES NOT INTEND TO USE ?”
