Frankie Ruth Johnson

Mrs. Frankie Ruth Johnson, of Troy passed away at her home, Saturday, October 15, 2011. She was 79. Graveside services for Frankie Ruth Johnson were held at 2:15 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011 at Green Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Bobby Weeks officiating. Burial followed in Green Hills Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation was held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy prior to the service. The procession will leave the funeral home at 2 p.m. She was born February 11, 1932 to the late Willie Frank and Lottie Irene Shirley Woodham in Pike County Alabama. She was a retired Elementary Teacher. Survivors are her husband, James Ralph Johnson, Troy; son; Tim (Laurianne) Johnson, Ozark; grandsons: Matt Johnson, Montgomery; and Derek Johnson, Panama City Beach, Fl; granddaughter: Breland (Lee) Danner, Ozark; great granddaughter: Lauren-Olivia Danner, Ozark. Serving as active pallbearers were Matt Johnson, Derek Johnson, Max Reeves, Mike Reeves, Ward Allison and Lee Danner. Memorial contributions may be made to City of Troy Board of Education.
