Chris Barron

Chris Gerard Barron, age 44, died Wednesday, October 12, 2011, in Mobile, Alabama, after battling an aggressive form of cancer for close to two years. He was born August 9, 1967, to Archie and Carolyn A. Barron.

Services were held Saturday, October 15, 2011, at the chapel of Green Hill Funeral Home in Troy. Visitation was held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Archie Barron, and brother, Barry K. Barron. He is survived by his wife, Susan L. Barron, of Monroe, Wash.; his mother Carolyn A. Barron; brother, Mike A. Barron; and nephew, Keith G. Barron.

Chris lived a good Christian life in Monroe, working as an electrician for various industries, including CNC machining, robotics and bio-energy production. He recently moved back to Alabama to be with his family.

The Troy Shriner’s Club served as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Chris’s honor.
