Minnie Grimsley Berry, age 95, a resident of Noble Manor died Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Troy Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Dr. Malone Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 10-11 AM at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Survivors include, Children, Brenda and Lamar Faulk of Dothan, Mary Helen and Jim Cornelison of Morganton, NC., Ewell Berry of Montgomery, Grandchildren, Natalie and Jeff Hutto, Dothan, Lynn Faulk of Dothan , Scott and Daphne Faulk of Dothan, Christie and Rodney Jones, Charlotte NC., Wes and Meghan Cornelison of Anchorage , Alaska, Alex Berry of Montgomery, and Suzanne Berry of Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ewell Berry Sr. Parents, Walter and Minnie Cora Grimsley, her brothers and sister. Mrs. Berry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the owner and operator of Minnie’s Beauty Shop for many, many years in Troy. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy for 59 years. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church or the March of Dimes.
