Sara Elizabeth Cherry, 52, a resident of Mathews, AL died Sunday, October 9, 2011. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2p.m. from Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Cassity officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Leak-Memory Chapel. Survivors include her husband, Dean Cherry; children, Kline & Danielle Cherry; parents, Bob & Joanne Nunnelee; brothers, Charles Nunnelee-Troy, AL, Jim Nunnelee (Mikele)-Cantonement, FL; sister, Peggy Sonanstine (Al)-Ozark, AL; nieces and nephews, Jason Sonanstine (Kim), Adrienne Slavins (John), Brittany Nunnelee, Taylor Nunnelee, Christy Thompson (Jon) Marietta, GA, Tripp Cherry; brother-in-law, Marvin Cherry (Joanne). Pallbearers will be Alan Caver, Phillip Moore, Dale Jones, Randy Williams, Rick Roney, and Tab Blackwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Wellness Foundation, 4145 Carmichael Rd., Montgomery, AL 36106.
