After an exchange of punts, the Bobcats were able to put together another impressive drive, this one a six-minute, 10-play offense capped off when Onterrio Jones plunged in from the 1-yard line to give Opp a 14-0 lead.

After forcing another punt from the Bulldogs’ offense, this time with less than two minutes in the first half, Opp was able to find the end zone again when Register connected with Hunter Roeser up the middle for an 8-yard touchdown with just 23 seconds remaining in the first half.

Opp opened up the second half with a touchdown on their second possession in only two plays. Pike County was finally able to score late in the fourth quarter, but it was too little too late.

Quadry Greasham hauled in an 11-yard touchdown catch, but the ensuing two-point conversion was no good leaving the score 28-6.

The loss drops Pike County to 0-6 overall, and 0-4 in Class 3A, Region 2. The Bulldogs will travel to Daleville next Friday night.
