DiGrado-Sanderlin

Dr. Christopher and Pamela DiGrado of New Orleans, La., are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter Elena Marie DiGrado to William Tyler Sanderlin, son of Kenny and Kim May and Ralph and Debra Sanderlin of Troy.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Marion and the late Salvatore DiGrado of New Orleans. Elena graduated from Saint Mary’s Dominican High School in New Orleans, in 2003. She holds a bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from Kings College; as well as, a master’s degree in Museum Studies from Middle Tennessee State University. Elena serves as the Assistant Curator and Education Specialist at the Hermann-Grima Gallier Historic Houses in New Orleans.

Tyler is the grandson of Olene and the late Lester Sanders and Marion and the late William Sanderlin. He graduated from Pike Liberal Arts in 2002, and holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Auburn University. Tyler has also completed his master’s degree in Historic Preservation from Middle Tennessee State University and will be graduating in December 2011. Tyler will be joining the staff of the Beauregard-Keyes House, in New Orleans, as the Director.

The wedding will be held Oct. 15 at Saint Patrick’s Church in New Orleans. The wedding will be followed by a reception held in the Omni Royal Orleans’s Grand Salon.
