Mr. Hubert D. Tillery

Mr. Hubert D. Tillery, age 83, of Troy, died Sunday September 11, 2011 at the Troy Regional Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 2 pm at the Hephzibah Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Hayes and Dr. Don Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle C. Tillery; two sons, Stephen D. (Phyllis) Tillery of Montgomery and Mark A. (Rosemarie) Tillery of Goshen; grandchildren, Courtney Tillery, Amanda (Nick) Paterson, and Eugene A. (Mary) Cronk; and a sister, Etha (Calvin) Head.

Active pallbearers will be Earl Fain, Willie Culpepper, James Turner, Byron Wilkes, Lynn Welch, Gene Manning, Ben Killough and Keith Barron.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
