Verna Ruth Flowers

Ms. Verna Ruth Flowers, 74, of the Ebenezer Community, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at her home. Graveside services for Ms. Verna Ruth Flowers will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Banks Cemetery with Chaplain Jody Haddan officiating and Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., 1 hour prior to the service at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. Ms. Flowers is survived by her children and their spouses: Steve Kline, Donnie (Patty Jean) Kline, Mack Flowers and Pat (Mike) Davis; grandchildren and spouses: Missy (Wesley) Scarbrough, Kelly (Heath) Adams, Joshua (Davette) Kline, Patrick Kline, Andrew Kline, Courtney Flowers and Kayla (Joseph) Stephens; great grandchildren: Hannah Scarbrough, Hope Scarbrough, Jacob Adams, Kenzie Grace Adams and Bridgette Kline; sisters: Katherine (Pete) Lewis of Texas, Eloise Holder of Georgia, Clara Culpepper of Troy, Edna (Jessie) Dorrill of Brundidge and Frances Chandler of Troy. Pallbearers will be Mack Flowers, Wesley Scarbrough, Joshua Kline, Shane Brown, Mike Davis and Jessie Dorrill. Memorials may be made to Alacare of Troy or the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, P. O.
