“She was seen on Highway 29 and picked up by several individuals around 12 p.m. Saturday. They dropped her off at a residence near Union Hill Church,” Thomas said..

“She told the people that she knew the residents. (But) they did not know her. She left (that residence and was) walking fast.”

Walton was seen between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. walking on Norman Road.

“It appears (she) does not remember her name. She was asked about her name, and she does not recall her name and where she lives. She appears to be disoriented and with the heat we have had the last two days we are worried about dehydration and her health,” Thomas added.

Deputies from the Pike County Sheriff Office, members of two churches, family members, community members, helicopters from the Dale County Sheriff Office, officers from Troy Police Department, and members of the Banks Volunteer Fire Department were aiding in the search for Walton on Sunday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency.
