Mrs. Jean Harrington of Troy died Friday, July 29, 2011 at her residence. She was 71. Skeen Funeral Home of Troy was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Harrington was born July 6, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri daughter of the late Raymond J. Schmitt and Mary Hrach Schmitt. She owned and operated Antioch Nursery on Hwy. 231 South in Troy.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Harrington and Bryant Harrington, both of Troy, and a brother, Raymond Schmitt, Jr. of Debary, FL.
