Max A Avant

Mr. Max A. Avant of Brundidge died Monday June 13, 2011 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with Reverends Bobby Hood and Mack King officiating. Burial will follow it Lakeview Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife Betty Avant of Brundidge, his children Susan (Robert) Curl, Freddy (Donna) Avant, Mark (Melody) Avant, and Sharon (Randy) Hays, his grandchildren Jacob Avant, Josh Hays, Adam Avant, Jonathan Steel, Jessica Patts, Will Hays, Savannah Truman, Max Steel, Tucker Avant, Summer Barr Farnsworth, Justin Barr, Amber Barbaree, Shane Lewis, Seth Lewis, and Elizabeth Connor, his great grandchildren Gwen Batts, Brent Connor, Gabe Batts, Cole Avant, Jeremy Hays, Tristen Farnsworth, Kaylee Farnsworth, Annabell Barbaree and Bryce Barbaree.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willie T. and Minnie Claude Avant.

His Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the Salem Baptist Church.
