Services for Ola Mae McBryde, 91, of Troy who died May 21, 2011 in Troy will be at 11 a.m. May 27, 2011, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. L.C. McMillian officiating.

Burial will be in Carroll Street Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be at the funeral home.

Mrs. McBryde was born January 05, 1920 in Bullock County. She was one of six children and was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years where she served on the usher board. She had fourteen children and three granddaughters that she raised.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.J. McBryde; mother and father, Willie and Bessie Mae Bean, brothers, Jack Bean, Richard Bean and Willie Bean; sister, Mamie Pugh; three daughters, Marie McBryde, Pearl McBryde and Delores Parker.

Survivors include her sister, Martha Pugh of Brundidge; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy McBryde of Montgomery and Murlean Bean of Banks; nine sons, Jeff and Zonnie McBryde of Sanford Florida, Willie Fred and Judy McBryde of Apopka, Florida, Q.T. and Dorothy McBryde of Troy, Robert McBryde of Montgomery, Larry McBryde, Grover and Veronica McBryde and Jerry McBryde all of Troy, Hakim and Francesca Mohammad

of Enterprise and Donald McBryde or Orlando, Florida; four daughters, Johnnie Mae McBryde of Newark, New Jersey, Annie Williams and Barbara McBryde both of Troy, Debra Ann Parker of Winter Park, Florida and Tracie and Paul of Atlanta, Georgia; thirty grandchildren; fifty four great-grandchildren, nineteen great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and Mary Carlisle, her confidant and long time friend.
