Mr. William Marx Young, age 52, of Troy, Alabama, died Monday, March 14, 2011. A memorial servicewill be at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Rev. ChuckFrancisco officiating.

Mr. Young is survived by one brother, Robert Young III; two sisters, Jane Thrash (Bob) and Barbara Bullock (Wayne); nephew, Payne Nash (Scott Armour); five nieces, Lynn B. Scarbrough and children Tyler and Zach, Christie B. Newman (Britt) and children Brittany and Dustin, Angie B. McQuagge and children

Alyssa, Tori and Tristen, Amy Wilson (Mark) and child Abigail, Merideth Brannon and child Jacob; four aunts, Josephine Davis, Billie Young, Eula Curtis and Eva Lou Wilkes; two uncles, Rex Partin and Bill Partin and a special friend, Cheryl Young and son Trey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Young Jr. and Sybil Partin Young and his grandparents, Robert Young Sr., Kate Young, Gervis Partin and Minnie Lee Partin.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. Gill and the ICU staff at Troy Regional Hospital their care of Mr. Young while he was in the hospital.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Marx’s memory to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or the Troy Humane Society.
