Mrs. Alma Dykes of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Highlands Medical Center. She was 94 years of age.

She is survived by son Dr. Ronald (Jane) Dykes of Scottsboro, daughter Glenda Bowling of Florence, Alabama, grandchildren; Patrick Flanagan of West New York, New Jersey and Toby (Melanie) Dykes of Birmingham and three great grandchildren; Katy, Ellis and Molly Dykes. Mrs. Dykes was preceded in death by her son-in-law Billy H. Bowling.

Memorial service will be 2:00pm Sunday at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Roy Hall officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 1:30pm until funeral time.

The family requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 315 South Kyle Street, Scottsboro, AL 35768 or Highlands Medical Auxiliary at 380 Woods Cove Road, Scottsboro, AL 35768.
