Maxine Ellen Fields, age 86, a resident of Elmore, AL died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with the Reverend Mack King officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Cross Roads Church of Christ Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Mrs. Fields is survived by her son: Larry Adair and his wife Lynette; grandchildren: Michelle Flint, Valerie Harding, Stephen Brecht, Kathleen Soppe, Michael Brecht, Roy Adair, Jr., Rhonda Adair, Ginger Adair and Debbie Small and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by husbands, Thomas Jefferson Adair and Robert O. Fields, her daughter Irene Shiver and her son Roy Adair.
