Annie Ruth McKinney

Services for Annie Ruth McKinney, who was born December 27, 1931, was at 11 a.m. March 7, 2011 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. L. C. McMillian officiating.

Burial was in Carroll St. Cemetery under the direction of Grubbs Funeral Home of Troy.

Mrs. McKinney received Christ at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and was a faithful member until her health failed. She served actively as a member of the Usher Board for over 50 years.

Mrs. McKinney was preceded in death by her parents, Elenora and William Watts, Sr. and two children, Debra Ann McKinney and Charles McKinney.

Survivors include one son, Robert and Jennifer McKinney; two daughters, Charlene and Kewanna McKinney, all of Troy; grandchildren, Kimberly McKinney, Stephanie (Hakim) Batie of Columbus, Georgia, Adrian McKinney, Adrianna McKinney, Tysheria Ryles, Kristopher McKinney and Keonte” Brantley; sister, Sammie Mae Warrington; sister-in-law, Diane McKinney; brother-in-law, Romack McKinney; aunt, Inez Streeter; niece, Nora Ramsey; three nephews, Jeffery, and Frank Watts and Eric Warrington, all of Troy; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
