John Raif Wilson

Mr. John Raif Wilson, age 65, of New Hope, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Thusday, Jan. 27, at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge. A memorial service is to be held at a later date.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Alice Wilson of New Hope; children, Kelli and Michael Goodson of New Hope, Daniel and McKenzie Wilson of Banks and Emily and Tim Craver of Lexington, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Hayden Goodson, Hunter Goodson, Hannah Goodson, Hillary Goodson, Victoria Wilson, J.D. Wilson and Allyn Wilson; sister, Elizabeth Adkinson of New Brockton; and a brother Joe and Phyllis Wilson of New Hope.

Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, A.W. and Lois Wilson, and his brother Andy Wilson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
