Christine Stovall green

Mrs. Christine Stovall Green age 70 of Troy died Monday, January 17, 2011 at Noble Manor.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Green will be held Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Perry Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Lebanon Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Thursday one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Michelle Green and Michael and Christy Green, her grandchildren Erick Sewell, Kelsey Sewell, Jeremy Green, Bricelyn Green, David Green, Alex Green and Kolby Green, a great granddaughter Baylee Ann Sewell, a brother and sister-in-law Fletcher and Corrine Stovall a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Burton and Judy Green, Nieces Emily Bohanan, Virginia Green, Sally and Chad Molyneux, great niece and nephew Jessie Bohanan, and Jake Green.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Green and her parents John Stovall Sr. and Willie Stovall.

Mrs. Green was born in Greenville, MS, she later attended Auburn University, she was the founder and guiding force for 25 years for the Troy Save-A-Life, an active member of the Old Lebanon Church where she played the piano and taught Sunday School.

Active pallbearers will be David Green, Alex Green, Jake Green, Erick Sewell, Kolby Green and Jeremy Green.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Employees and Board of Directors of the Troy Save-A-Life.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Troy Save-A-Life.
