Mary Huner Johnson, age 88, a resident of Troy, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2011. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at 2 pm at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church with Father Den Irwin officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 17, 2011, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by three daughters, Mary O’Neil (Donald), Sandra Huner (Bobbie Morris) Theresa Maddox (Robert); three sons Herb Huner (Anne), Stanley Huner (Jane) and Rick Huner( Sherene); her granddaughter, Sheree Baker and Mitch; grandsons, Jeff Huner, Scott Huner and Sherry, Keith Huner and Carrie, Chris Huner and Tracie, Patrick Huner and Christie, Mike Huner and Alisha, Stan Huner and Becca, Mike Herring and Kokua, Alex Herring and Kandace, Eric Herring and Perrin, Richard Huner and Tara and Robert Austin Maddox; great-grandchildren, Nathan Huner, Seth Huner, Cole Huner, David Huner, Jake Huner, Josh Huner, Brock Huner, Grant Baker, Marie Huner, Isa Huner, Emma Kathryn Huner, Hannah Huner, Bailey Nixon, Ethan Herring, Brady Huner, Brenna Herring, Ashton Herring, Caden Herring, Hannah Kate Huner, Christian Gilmore and Hadley Huner; and a special friend, Horace Pippin.

Active pallbearers will be her 12 grandsons.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husbands, Stanley H. Huner and Rufus Harvey Johnson, and her parents Charlie Otis Childs and Willette Hyman Childs .

Memorials may be made to St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church.
