The Messenger’s staff is busy gathering letters to Santa from all the good little Pike County boys and girls. We’ll publish copies of the letters in our Season’s Greeting edition on Christmas Eve, and forward all the originals to the jolly ol’ elf in the North Pole. If your youngster hasn’t had a chance to write his or her letter in class this week, you can always email it to us c/o news@troymessenger.com.  Just be sure to put “Letters to Santa” in the subject line and include a parent’s contact name. Make sure your child includes his or her name and age. Our deadline for receiving the letters is midnight Friday, Dec. 17.
