James Sidney Floyd Jr.

James Sidney “Junior” Floyd Jr. age 84 of Goshen died Friday, December 3, 2010 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the Hales Chapel Baptist Church with Reverends Tommy Manns and Robert Pullen officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. There will also be a 30 Minute lie-in-state at the church prior to the service.

He is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law Danny L. and Sandra Floyd of Montgomery, Connor Joe and Sheila Floyd of Goshen, and James S. and Robin Floyd III of Montgomery, his grandchildren Cretia and Robert Pugh, Pamela and Lee Sikes, Malerie and Kevin Huguley, Kendra and Zach Balassone, Dane and Leah Floyd, Gabe and Traci Floyd, and Dan and Laurel Floyd, his great grandchildren Chris and Haley Floyd, Hudson and Wesley Pugh, Anna Elizabeth and Thomas Floyd, Clayton and Jackson Floyd, his sisters Lucille Bundrick and Gwendolyn Crutchfield, brothers Parker and Clayton Floyd.

He was preceded in death by this Wife Marzelle Jeffcoat Floyd, a son Bobby Ross Floyd, a granddaughter Leslie Floyd, his parents James and Minnie Lee Floyd, 2 sisters and a brother.

His grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as active pallbearers.
