Evelyn Taylor Griffin

Evelyn Taylor Griffin, age 86, of Troy, died Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Baptist South in Montgomery. A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Burney Enzor officiating and Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday , December 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Taylor; one grandson, Michael Glen Taylor; parents, Wilkie and Vera Lucas; one sister and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, Robert Emory Griffin; one daughter Geraldine Knotts (Richard); two sons, Larry Taylor and Harold Taylor (Shelby); two stepsons, Titus Griffin (Sarah) and Allen Griffin (Christine); seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Griffin was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Taylor, David Taylor, Rick Knotts, Titus Griffin, Gary Campbell, and Richard Knotts.
