Mrs. Hazel Byrd Norton, age 79, formerly of Brundidge died Sunday, November 21, 2010. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 11:00 am at St. John Baptist Church with Reverend Clifford Matthews officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 22, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Mrs. Norton is survived by her children: John Norton and his wife Debbie of Troy, JoAnn Ropp of Brundidge, Debra Berry of Brundidge and Dewey Norton of Brundidge; one sister: Emery Faye Hughes of Ozark, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frazier Norton of Brundidge, son, Jack Norton of Brundidge and 2 daughters: Jeanette McKim of Enterprise and Cyntiha Sutton of Brundidge.

Mrs. Norton will lie-in-state Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. John Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Senn, Randy Hughes, Robert Hughes, Freddie Turner, Allois Flowers, Hill Sutton, Richard Berry and David Norton.
