Mrs. M. Irene Dodds Anderson, Age 97 formerly of Brundidge died Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Ozark Health and Rehab. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the Hamilton Crossroads Church of Christ with Minister Elisha Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge directing.
There will be a one hour lie in state prior to the service at the church. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2010 from 6-8 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge .
Survivors include, children, Jack and Jean Whitehead of Brundidge, Earl and Sharon Dodds of Degraff , Ohio, Eldon and Linda Dodds of Tyler, Tx., Terry and Martha Ann Dodds of Atlanta, Ga., James and Sandra Hayes of Jack, Al., Wayne and Lynn Anderson of New Mexico, 18 Grandchildren and Numerous great and great great grandchildren. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husbands, Asa J. Anderson and George Irwin Dodds and her parents, Vernon and Emma Knotts.
