John Albert Alloway, age 89 of Troy, died Friday, August 13, 2010. Funeral services for Mr. Alloway will be Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend J.C. Folks officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, with Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation was held Monday, August 16, 2010 from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Mr. Alloway is preceded in death by his father, Ace Alloway and mother, Sweetie McClain Alloway.
He is survived by one son, Edward (Buddy) Brown; one sister, Sweetie Mae Siler and several nieces and nephews.
