Airman Cory Lee McCord, age 22, of Troy, Alabama , died August 6, 2010. Funeral services for Mr. McCord will be Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Brother Sgt. James Alex Neal USMC officiating. Burial will follow in the Veterans Memorial Garden in Green Hills Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be Friday, August 13, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Mr. McCord graduated Charles Henderson High School in 2006.
Mr. McCord is survived by his father, Roderick Norton and mother, Angela McCord; Uncle, Christopher McCord, Aunt, Stephanie McLeod; four brothers, Curtis McCord, Adarius McCord, Michael McCord, and Justin McCord; two sisters, Anesha Mc Cord and Jessica Robinson; two nieces Autavia Barrow and Chante McCord.
