Margaret Green

Margaret Huggins Green, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Margaret was born on June 11, 1953 in Troy, Alabama to William and Catherine Atwell Huggins. She was a loving wife, beloved mother and grandmother.
In addition, she was an active member of the Friends of Hospice Christus Santa Rosa and was always there to assist anyone with her time and talents.
Margaret had an exceptional flair for decorating and design. She assisted many women both in wardrobe consulting and interior decorating.
Margaret had a distinct sense of style and a passion for turquoise jewelry and other unique accessories. She and her husband, Bill, loved to spend time in the Texas Hill Country.
She was devoted to her grandchildren and adored her cats. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Catherine Huggins and her brother, David Huggins. Margaret is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Bill Green; son, Vic Green and his wife, Courtney; grandchildren: Ella, Olivia and Gavin Green; aunt, Bobbie Ogdie and her husband, Ken. Nieces, Jilian and Candice Huggins, Allison Plyler and her husband, Brandon, great nephew and niece, Holden and Arden Plyler.
Her gentle spirit and sweetness will be remembered by many wonderful neighbors and friends from coast to coast.
Services will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at 2 p.m. in Sunset Ridge Church of Christ at 95 Brees Boulevard with John Harp officiating.
