Mrs. Lucille Tew, age 82, of Brundidge, died Sunday, May 30, 2010, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Tew will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Baggett and Rev. Chuck Blair officiating.
Burial will follow at Springfield Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 A.M., prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Tew was born August 4, 1927, in Pike County, AL. She is preceded in death by her husband, Morris Tew, parents, Simon and Nora Senn Faulk, son-in-law: Raymond Peel, 2 brothers, Lamar Faulk and Buck Faulk, and a sister, Mavis Sanders. Survivors include a daughter, Debra Peel, Ozark; grandson & wife, Eric & Dana Peel, Dothan; granddaughter and Husband, Emily & Ben Johnson, Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Allison Peel, Dothan; Bryce Johnson, Montgomery; brother, Wayne Faulk, Columbus, GA; 3 sisters, Doris Tew, Brundidge; Bennie Lou Ward & Shirley Arnold, both of Phenix City, Al; sister-in-law, Beatrice Goodson, Brundidge and numerous nieces & nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Peel, Ben Johnson, Wayne Faulk, Effort Arnold, Richard Tew and Brad Lee. Memorials may be made to Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 4507 Co.
