USAF Colonel (Retired) Bill Gunter of Enterprise, AL passed away, Sunday, April 25, 2010 in Troy Regional Medical Center. He was 89.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Gary Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Gunter was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Helen Stewart Gunter and his wife of 33 years, Florence Gunter.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Stewart and Sue Gunter, Los Angeles, CA; Alan and Deborah Gunter, Troy, AL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Jake Gunter, Marianna, FL.
