Troy Police continue to investigate a reported hit and run accident that took place late Tuesday.

Around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, police were notified a person driving a gray Ford Mustang in the 600 block of East Madison Street left the scene of an accident involving a pedestrian, said Troy Police Spokesman Sgt. Benny Scarbrough.

Scarbrough said police believe the mirror of the vehicle is what struck the individual walking on the street. No one was reported injured in the event.
