In the final home game for the Pike Liberal Arts softball team, the Patriots took on the Fort Dale Eagles and left the field victorious.

Thanks to the strong pitching from Kailee Taylor, who threw a complete game and striking out 14 Eagle batters along the way, the Patriots were able to win 3-1 and in the process, force a play-in game against Macon-East to decide their playoff fate.

At the plate, J.J. Jones finished 2-2 while Rebecca Farrar, Josie Griffin and Madison Sanders each finished 2-3.

Brandi Henderson and Sara Richburg also contributed with doubles of their own.

On the mound, Taylor gave up just two hits and the one run Fort Dale was able to score came off a Patriot error.
