Mr. Richard D. Garrett, age 58 of Banks died Monday, April 12, 2010 at his home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 11:00 am from the Enon Baptist Church with Reverend Averyt Walker and Reverend Mack Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge Directing.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home in Brundidge. He will also lie-in-state at the church 30 minutes prior to the service on Thursday.
He is survived by his children Stacie Denise Garrett (Jason H.) Black of Troy, Micah B. (Amy) Garrett of Montgomery, Justin Richard Garrett of Banks, his grandchildren Bailey Black, Miranda Black and Weston Garrett, sisters Jamie Sue Bennett, and Mary Beth Hyatt.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Frances Garrett.
