Troy University’s annual Spring Alumni Reunion will take place Saturday across the Troy campus.

The event, which will coincide with Troy’s Preview Day, will be kicked off with a St. Patrick’s Day themed-parade down University Avenue at noon.

Other events taking place will be a 1 p.m. baseball game between the Trojans and Brown University at Riddle-Pace Field and a spring football scrimmage in Movie Gallery Veterans Stadium at 2 p.m.

For the grand finale, the annual Alumni Reunion Dinner will be held at the Trojan Center Ballrooms at 6 p.m.

Chancellor Jack Hawkins Jr. will honor Dr. Manuel Johnson with the University’s Distinguished Leadership Award at the banquet.

Johnson is being recognized for his devotion to Troy and particularly his work with the Building Beyond Boundaries initiative.

“Dr. Johnson is a tremendous advocate for Troy University through his service as chair of the University’s Building Beyond Boundaries initiative and as a member of the University’s Foundation Board of Directors,” Hawkins said.
