A Springhill wreck early Monday resulted in one fatality and two injuries.

Jacob Benton, 18, of Titus was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, while his passenger Jacob Bond, 18, also of Titus, has been placed in guarded condition after being airlifted to Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery.

Megan Wright, 21, of Anniston , was transported to Troy Regional Medical Center where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Alabama Trooper Spokesman Kevin Cook confirmed the two-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 167.
