Unger said the snow will not last long, but cold temperatures are expected to stay behind.

Local EMA employee Jeanna Barnes said Pike County is under a winter weather advisory from 11 p.m. Sunday till noon Monday.

Barnes reported measuring 7-inches of snow in downtown Troy Friday.
