GRIFFIN, Joseph Daniel, 73, a resident of Goshen, AL died Thursday, January 21, 2010.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Sunday, January 24, 2010 from the Oak Bowery Church of Christ with the Minster Floyd Noble officiating. Interment will follow in Belser Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Griffin is preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Jordan, Cinda Griffin, and Trudie Griffin; one brother, Ben Griffin and one nephew, Michael Griffin. He is survived by eight nephews, Billy Griffin, Bobby Griffin, Bruce Griffin, John Griffin, Randy Jordan, Chris Messick, Chuck Clements and Chris Clements; seven nieces, Betty Griffin, Ruby Recklaw, Christina Griffin, Rosa Jordan, Mae Senn, Angle Smith and Melissa Black; and a host of great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening for 6 pm until 8 pm.
