One person was injured around midnight Saturday after being struck by a vehicle.

According to Alabama State Trooper Spokesman Kevin Cook, the car hit two people, but one individual walked off and the other was transported to Troy Regional Medical Center.

Cook did not know the names of the individuals who were struck, but said the individual injured received treatment of a broken leg and head lacerations.

The incident occurred near the old Pike Lanes Bowling Alley on U.S. Highway 231, just shortly after a two-vehicle wreck occurred.

Justin Brown of Troy and Raymond Cruise of Hoover were involved in the wreck, but Cook said neither sustained any injuries.
