Mr. Sylvester Richards age 85 of Troy died Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the Troy Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with Sister Christine Gassett officiating. Burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his sons Leon Malcolm Chapman of Jack, Ned Williams of Horton, AL, Don Hayward Chapman of Brundidge and Deryl Sylvester Richards of Troy, a sister Georgia Mae Thornton of Ariton, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
