Hubert Adamson

Mr. Hubert Melvin (Tadpole) Adamson, age 72 of Lanett, Alabama was Born October 25, 1937 in Pike County Alabama. He was a veteran of The United States Army. He was a graduate of Lanett High School and completed trade school in Anniston, Alabama. He retired as a machinist from West point pepperell’s Lanett division. He is preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Kate Goodsen Adamson and Ira Clinton Adamson, and brother Buford Adamson.
He is survived by three children, Daughter Roxanna LaDora Fuller of Valley, Al, Son Melvin Alan Adamson of Lanett, Al, and Daughter Lisa K. Siggers (Al) of Valley, Al, Four Granddaughter and One Great Grandson, Sisters Foy Ester Smallwood (Bennie Ray) of Lanett, Al, Hazel Brooks (Harvey) of Valley, Al, Francis Smith of Brundidge,Al , and big brother Norris Hilliard Adamson (Judy) of Rogersville, AL.
Mr. Adamson loved life and his Church family. He was the eldest founding member of Emanuel Baptist Temple in Valley, Alabama. He loved Gospel hymns, old cars and fellowship with friends and family.
Mr. Adamson was proud to obtain Master Mason status. He was a founding member of Masonic Lodge # 184 in Brundidge, Alabama, member of West Point Masonic Lodge # 43, and Honorary member of Lanett, Alabama lodge # 656.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside at St. John’s Baptist Church Cemetery in Brundidge, Alabama on Wednesday at 11 AM EST. The Reverend Darren White will officiate.
Johnson Brown-Service/Lanett will be directing.
