Dorothy Mathews Barnett
Mrs. Dorothy Mathews Barnett, age 92 of Goshen died Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Troy Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Reverends Burney Enzor and David Zorn officiating. Burial will follow in Darien Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing.
Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
She is survived by her children Jeanell and Burney Enzor of Troy, Edward F. and Pat Barnett of Troy, and Jerry Barnett of Troy, her sisters Lena Mae Evanek of Baton Rouge, and Lurene (Marshall) Edwards of Luverne, Grandchildren Kimberly and Charlie Mitchell, Melanie Barnes, Steven Enzor, Mark and Patricia Enzor, Eddie Barnett, Mike and Susan Barnett, David Barnett, and Kyle Barnett, great-grandchildren Melissa and Morgan Mitchell, Ansley Sewell, Sydney Barnett, Sarah Barnett, Gabrielle Barnett, Rikki Enzor, Vandi Enzor, Alyssa Enzor, Kacee Enzor, Danni Enzor, Kaylee Barnes, Raylen Barnes, Lily Barnette, Jayden Barnes, Taytom Barnes, Baylor Barnes, Stephen Enzor Jr., Heath Enzor, Quade Sewell, C.J. Mitchell and Caleb Mitchell, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Columbus Vandy Barnett, and her parents Harvey and Nettie Mathews.
Active pallbearers will be Steve Enzor, Mark Enzor, Eddie Barnett, Mike Barnett, David Barnett and Kyle Barnett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Elaine Carmichael, Sue Campbell, Norma McLeod, Sue Thomas and John D. Boggan.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Goshen Baptist Church.
