Mrs. Julia Middlebrooks Kothe, age 88 of Troy died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at her home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 4:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Thaylon Maddox officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy Directing.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
She is survived by her children Harold Douglas McRae of Birmingham, Rebecca and Joe Carreon of Sally, South Carolina, Linda K. Meadows of Troy, Johnnie and Ronnie Baggett of Glenwood, Polly and Peter Sebastian of Le Clair, Iowa, 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and several great greatgrandchildren, her brother and sister-in-law Dr. James E. and Ann Middlebrooks of Brundidge and a sister Slyvia Seagers of Ozark.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold W. Kothe, parents John and Mary Middlebrooks, 2 grandsons Jessie Arnold Baggett and Tommy Campany, and her son-in-law Jerry T. Meadows.
Active pallbearers will be Thomas Outlaw, Donnie Baggett, Kenny Baggett, Paul Davis, Robert Meadows, Peter Middlebrooks and Henry Middlebrooks.
