Mrs. Verby Kennedy Jones, 89, a resident of Luverne died Thursday November 26, 2009. Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday November 28, 2009 at the Camp Ground Methodist Church with Rev. Cliff Cobb officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Elena Marie Jones and Brooks K. Jones; her parents, Alpheus and Olean Spivey Kennedy; brother, Carlton Kennedy; and a daughter-in-law, Carol Ann Jones.
Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Paul M. Jones; three children, Peggy Jones Stephens, Leon (Donna) Jones and Paul Ray Jones; eight grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Johnny Jones, Eric Jones, Brannon Golden, Mitch McLeod, Marino Bolling and Randy Kennedy.
